Terrible customer service

Very bad experience trying to make a purchase online. I called customer service to try to get some help and they sent me to my nearest store. I got to the store in the city of Fullerton and personnel was rude and not willing to hep me. I called customer service one more time and they told me that I was supposed to go to the store on Fountain Valley. I got there and Customer service was rude and sent me to the store in Long Beach. I got there and they could not help me. I showed them the error message that I was getting and they told me that they could not help me since I was trying to do an online purchase. They really need to try to help customer to the best of their ability. I wasted a lot of money on gas going around on circles for nothing. I called customer service one more time and they told me that they could not help me because there were restrictions on buying a mattress in California. I told them that the website did not mention any restrictions and they told me that they could not help me because now it was out of stock. I called the manufacturer and they told me that there was no restrictions since they are here in California. I ended up buying the mattress from another store without any issues. I am thinking about canceling my membership and staying with the one that went above and beyond to help me buy what I need.

we have been a club member for years and we love their low price discount when u shop there and low price gasoline as a bonus too, we enjoy the perk and will continued to be a member thank you so much!

Food is nasty

I went in there today to get my favorite delli food. It straight up nasty. Actually got food poisoning from the chicken salad I always buy. High price already for something u can make at home. Teach ur employees to wear gloves and keep Thier hands clean. The staff is rude as hell. Non existent manager at the Southaven branch. Him or her is never to been seen

TRASH!

they raise their prices, but don't cut the membership fees down. they don't have our favorite items anymore. they harass you at the door to upgrade and while checking out, they won't stop with the credit card offers, or extended warranties... it's okay, i nailed em good on a 10 year old furniture set that my cat puked and crapped on. :-) and got more than i paid, PLUS my membership refund, they should close their doors for good.

This company is dishonest

This company is dishonest, they took money from my bank account without approval for a renewal that i did not approve, i canceled my membership and its been over two months and they have yet to return it buyer BEWARE! THEY SUCK!!!!

Not What It Once Was

We have been members of Sam's Club for 8 years and never had an issue with them until the past three years. We actually dropped our membership the past two years because things were poorly run, but renewed this year in hopes that things changed. The selection has become mediocre and shopping online is questionable. Packages almost regularly arrive damaged or get sent back by the carrier because they are so poorly packaged that the items are severely damaged. In the past, Sam's Club corrected the issue immediately, without hesitation. Now, there is difficulty getting replacements or a refund. Even when you say that you need replacements, they push for a refund. Then, you're lucky if you get any of the refund. We have waited over three months for a refund that they continue to say is coming, but hasn't yet. When you get a hold of someone now, there is a language barrier and they barely comprehend anything you say. Apparently, customer service employees are no longer within the states. Sam's Club has gone downhill fast and is continuing to get worse. We also had an unauthorized charge from them this year because they accessed our account information without consent, but our bank backed us and dealt with the fraudulent charge. Beware that Sam's Club is not what it used to be.

HOW DO YOU LEAVE 0 STARS?!

Just purchased baby back ribs at sam's club Corunna Rd store in Flint, Michigan. Being a vacuum sealed two pack of ribs I told my wife; "watch when we get these home the rib on the bottom will be all fat". I wasn't off by much. I am Disgusted! I feel like I have just been assaulted. I will not be renewing my membership with this company. I will shop for my food at Aldi's. At least there you don't feel like you've been bent over a barrel!

App Bad/Shipping Packaging Laughable

They need to hire some good computer techs. There app will perform its functions half the time, so they have know about the problems. Items disappear you have put in cart. App closes down. Your debit card works, stops working, works again. Things like this all in app. Obviously nobody with authority walks through shipping because ALL the shipping packaging is laughable.

Do not go to the optical center at…

Do not go to the optical center at Sam's Club. Their current management is doing business with a lab that overcharges and cheats customers. If you want new lenses in the frames that you bought from Sam's Club they will charge you $60 to $120 extra just to use the frame they sold you two years ago.

Hostile shopping environment #06376 LBJ fwy Dallas TX

I have been a member for 6years and lately just started noticing the very unfriendly atmosphere in my local club #06376 LBJ fwy Dallas Texas. I guess they promoted a very rude associate to club manager position. Customer service here is horrible, they talk like they are doing you a favour. August 30th around 9.45am, while I was scanning at self check out, a male associate cuts infront of me and the computer screen, standing less than 2ft away from me and said; "stop scanning and leave the store". I was taken aback and asked why? He repeated his rude remark and added "because you are not a plus member". I promptly told him "that was very rude, he could have started with either a hi or good morning and should go get his supervisor". I informed them about his rude behavior when he brought the supervisor & club manager. The manager did not address the rude behavior but went on to tell me that "they have a new policy of not allowing non plus members to shop early and if I don't like it, i should get a refund of my membership fees and purchases". I called their customer care to complain, I was given a reference # & nothing was done. I guess if I had recorded this experience on my phone for others to see on SM it will get their attention. Spare yourself the horrible experience and shop elsewhere not at this store. To be fair to the organization, some other clubs are not like this one. I have received better services in the Plano club. The services offered at Sam's club is not worth $50 & $100 annual membership fee they charge. A 1star rating is being generous

IN the store - no problem, it was correct answer. If you are not, try to chat. You can wait a little - not too long, however, you will get help from an associate.

Sam's Club customer service is kind-of difficult to get a hold of someone on the phone. They are typically overwhelmed with in-person customers at the store. Typically if the hold time is more than 3 minutes, I call back later and get right through without much issue.

Compare prices. If you want to buy Tide detergent. Compare prices same number of loads of Tide from Sam with others you will see that the price at Sam beats the price at Costco and others.
